a few good idles and engine sounds at higher RPM. Theres one chrysler sound but it doesnt sound very good.

There is web site called Democar82.com. On his intro he has a derby car starting up. Interestingly enough, he is the AI driver of Demo car in the game.

That is the guy. One thing I think is strange... He only runs FoMoCo products. I have never heard a ford sound like that.

Around here in PA, a lot of the guys swap out for mopars 318's. They adjust the timing , so when it gets really hot it will start without any problem. I seen a pre derby motor so hot, they cooked an egg on it.

I noticed that some cars when they restart its a quick reignition. But when the car is heavily damaged, there is a really cool slow cranking sound that happens on occassion.

How does the game determine which sound to play?
A quick crank vs a slow crank?
